RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY

Exchanges, Returns & Refunds

Whilst we are sure that you will be happy with your order, we still, for the benefit and peace of mind of our customers, offer a flexible exchange, return and refund policy.

Due to current circumstances, we will be offering a new returns policy:

  • 30-day return on all eyewear instead of our standard 14 days.
  • We will also accept orders where prescriptions are over 2 years old where existing glasses are lost or damaged.
Got a problem with your order?

If you believe your prescription eyewear or sunglasses are faulty in any way, please contact us by email on info@thedesignerglasses.co.uk or call us on 0208 000 0000 during UK office hours. We will do our best to sort out the issue to your satisfaction.

If you need to return your eyewear to us:

You should send these back to us within 14 days from the date of delivery to you. It is your responsibility to return the item unworn and in perfect condition with the original packaging intact. We recommend using a courier or Royal Mail service that requires a signature and has insurance such as Special Delivery. Please include either your invoice or a note with your name and order number and the reason for return clearly stated.

Varifocal returns:

We understand that varifocal lenses may require some adaptation time for users, in particular first time wearers, and in a minority of cases, some who even may be non-tolerant to them. In such cases where customers are still experiencing difficulties after a few weeks of use, we offer a simple return or exchange policy. Simply send your frames back to us and we will make any necessary adjustments as requested to something you feel may work better. If you would prefer to switch back to single vision glasses, then we will exchange the lenses and refund you the difference – easy!

To exchange your varifocals all you will need to do is call our Customer Services department on +44 (0) 200 000 0000 within 30 days of purchase, with your order details and we will assist you with any returns.

We DO NOT refund any original delivery costs you paid for your eyewear but we do refund the following:

Non-prescription Sunglasses and other eyewear:

-- Full refund

Frames with bespoke free prescription lenses:

-- Refund the cost of the frame minus £30 glazing charge.

Bespoke prescription lens eyewear:

-- Refund frame cost

Bulk Orders:

Orders of more than 2 frames are classed as a ‘bulk order’. For a return of a bulk order, there will be a £10 restocking fee deducted from your refund.

We always strive to action your refund as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
